Speaking to EDUtech_talks at EDUtech Asia 2023 in November, Soheil Katal, CIO of Los Angeles Unified School District, USA shares more about their key focuses, including digital transformation and designing a secure future classroom. Given the increased use of AI, the implementation of digital citizenship has never been more crucial, spanning students, parents, and staff.
Katal’s goal is to adapt classrooms and create an environment augmented by intelligent devices for collaborative learning. However challenges remain in scaling adoption at speed for all educators and students.
